Rdholmantx and I have been planning on running a marathon together for a while, and we want to open the fun (*cough*) up to the rest of HP fandom. We're planning to start an LJ community called Run Fangirl Run. We've selected the [Poll #1531103][Poll #1531103]

I'd do a 5K walk, er, more likely a stroll. That might be the extent of it, considering the fact that I somehow injured my knee in Dec/Jan. But I'd happily set up somewhere to hand out water, scream cheers at you embarrassingly loudly, and generally hang out. Since my son's stationed not far from Dallas, I'll be looking for occasions to go visit him, and could put two trips together. :)

Well, I'm at the point where I'm walking without limping, but still taking the steps reeeeally carefully, so it'll be some months before I can do the 5K Strollathon. But it sure would be fun to do one!

I ♥ the Dallas White Rock. I ran it in 2008 - my first and only marathon thus far, and it was fabulously done. Such a good time!
