Tackling the Dreaded To Do List
Sep. 1st, 2008 04:34 pmEver write out your To Do List only to be paralyzed because there's so much to do? Sure, you could spend time prioritizing. But what happens when it ALL needs to get done, but the real issue is that you don't want to do most of it. Or you start one task only to immediately question whether you SHOULD be doing that task and not one of the others. This happens to me a lot, and today I decided to try something new to tackle my To Do List Angst. After I made my list, I numbered everything and started using a Virtual Dice Roller (unlike my D&D playing friends, I didn't happen to have a 30-sided dice lying around).
So far, so good. I've managed to cross 7 things off my list! Without it, I'm sure I'd still be trolling the internet procrastinating.
