Bonus Positive Post
Oct. 14th, 2010 03:52 amTonight I was practicing the songs I expect to play from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer episode "Once More with Feeling." (For those of you who have missed my broadcasting this, this episode and its plot are, well, a musical that I'll be 'giving' to a cousin for her birthday in the form of a roughly half hour sing-along). I've got most of the songs down reasonably well and was debating with Mr. PJ what additional song I should add to my repertoire. Without having to think he demanded 'Rest in Peace.' I argued that it was better suited for guitar...
And so I found myself pulling my guitar out of its case for the first time in (and I'm not exaggerating) ten years. It wasn't hooooooorribly out of tune. I downloaded a tuning app and got it back into shape. I was never all that great in the first place, but what I did know more or less came back pretty quickly. I even serenaded Mr. PJ with a song I wrote waaaaay back when I was 16. (It was about 20 seconds long and about Cookie Dough... as opposed to my other four songs which were about unrequited love. *winces*)
Because, you know, I needed another hobby.
P.S. I've already messed around with Apples in Stereo guitar tabs. Squee!!!
