Living life at its fullest

I'm busy trying to squeeze a last few work assignments into 2009. We've also got a gaggle of twenty or so female relatives coming over in a couple hours to celebrate the holidays. I'm trying to de-wibble myself, seeing as the only large groups of females I'm able to cope with are HP fangirls. Sometimes, I really do feel like I have all the social skills of a feral cat. (Hyperbole is mah middle name)

Lots of fandom things to catch up on by year's end. December has been chock-full of squee, and I've been horribly remiss in giving thanks for it. Tuesday's drive home shall involve work, betaing, and mega LJ post writing.

A cursory skim of the flist indicates that I should wish everyone else luck on YOUR end-of-year scrambles as well! Shall we reconvene here on the first with wine?
