Voting

DH and I voted earlier. I asked him, "So what time are you going to start watching the election coverage?" He responded, "Why, immediately, of course."

I may have to hole myself up in a quiet room until midnight or so. Otherwise, I'll lose my mind. I'm a numbers gal, but watching these numbers might be the death of me especially if there's any suspense involved.

That said, I'm sure I won't be able to concentrate on anything else. Maybe I'll clean the basement or something....

There are fireworks in our neighborhood right now. It's a very, very exciting day to be an American. It's an especially exciting day to be a newly minted Ohioan.

Thank goodness it's all over (and with the 'right' outcome). (And for the first time, the dogs aren't even going apeshit like they normally do when there are fireworks.)
