I was reading breathlessy, perched on the edge of my seat throughout the whole chapter. You've captured Sherlock so well, and made it clear that he indeed does care about his brother. A lot. Under normal circumstances he just doesn't care to let it show.
And of course you ended with a cliffie ... evil woman! I can't wait to read the next chapter. *drums fingers*
