Eeep!

So the Roll-the-Dice To Do List Solution was wildly successful. Only I was a bit too overzealous in scheduling things to do and ended up completely wearing myself out after two days. And, egads, I haven't worked on my fic. in a week! It almost makes me miss the days of sitting like a lump on the couch. Almost.

This weekend should be hectic too. My husband is going out of town this weekend and I'm planning on surprising him by painting the master bedroom and the kitchen. The master bedroom will be a concession on my part - white walls (eewww!!!) which he thinks will look lovely with the dark wood trim. In exchange, I get to paint the kitchen purple like it was in our old house. Squeee!

so when are you going to schedule some time for your writing? ; )

i can totally relate to the too huge to-do list. :(

i've actually got some other beta work lately. in a strange coincidence, someone else asked shortly after you, so i'm working on her story, and then i had a little rush job i did for someone else. but by next week, i'll be ready to turn my attention to your story again. should there be anything to turn my attention to. ; )

I should be working on my story again tonight. I actually put it on my list every day this week, but I kept postponing it for more exciting tasks like 'clean bathroom' and 'vacuum stairs'. With a (relatively) clean house and a husband-free weekend, I'm hoping to settle down and write.

I spent some agonizing time a little while ago looking at some websites related to the book that inspired the story. I think I might be sick now. But it definitely gave me some ideas for characters and their reactions (puke, puke, puke).
