Gah! Need help locating fic.

This is supremely annoying.

Once upon a time there was a story in which Hermione and Professor Snape suffered a Potions accident and switched bodies. She had to teach his classes, endure the solitude of his existence, do all her homework, teach classes, and cope with morning stiffies. He had to endure Potter and Weasley, endure lectures from Minerva about how his transfiguration wasn't up to par, and cope with monthlies.

Sounds entertaining, eh?

So what the heck is the title? I combed through all (and I do mean all) the completed fics on Ashwinder with no luck.

That's because it's not on Ashwinder. It's called "The Fire and The Rose" by Abby and Domina, and you can find it here:

There's also a sequel, have you read that one?

Ah, the memories! Witchfics was where I started out reading Snape/OFC and then SSHG. Then I found Lord and Lady Snape (now Ashwinder.) You did an excellent job of summarizing the story. I'm not surprised you got answers right away. Some of the vaguest summaries come into WIKTT Guides! It's challenging and fun when we can manage to track them down. I'm hoping [livejournal.com profile] writermerrin will allow fic searches when she reopens [livejournal.com profile] lovedraughts for business. She certainly has great plans for an all SSHG community.

Thanks for the tip. I went and read it over the last few days (great RL avoidance strategy, but waiting for the backslash is scary now). The insight into the characters is great in that story.
